2024 DerivaDEX Testnet Competition Kickoff

DerivaDEX is pioneering a resilient, user-driven approach to liquidity, market risk management, and financial accessibility. The platform’s high-performance infrastructure, supported by a commitment to governance transparency, offers an alternative to centralized platforms—positioning DerivaDEX as a catalyst for the next evolution in finance.

The 2024 DerivaDEX Testnet Competition is now open. This competition allows participants to experience the full trading environment expected at mainnet onboarding, including trader due diligence, a production-grade backend, and a comprehensive suite of trading features. Participants can anticipate a "what you see is what you get" experience ahead of onboarding to mainnet.

Getting Started

Visit testnet.derivadex.io and verify your account to register for the competition. Acceptance of the competition terms and conditions is required before trading begins.

Verification will be conducted via Blockpass. Data collected will be used exclusively for due diligence and prize eligibility verification.

After approval (typically within 24 hours after verification is submitted), Sepolia testnet ETH and USDC will be issued to your Sepolia Ethereum address.
Connect with your verified Ethereum address at testnet.derivadex.io.
Deposit USDC into the platform, with a maximum deposit limit of 10,000 USDC. Depositing additional USDC will disqualify traders from any competitions.
Begin trading! Currently, BTC and ETH perpetual swaps are available on DerivaDEX.

The competition will run for approximately one month, with the exact duration subject to updates.

Bug Reporting and Testing

The testnet competition provides valuable insights and opportunities to identify edge cases and user experience improvements. Participants are encouraged to report any issues using the bug report form.

Next Steps and Mainnet Onboarding

Participants who complete verification on testnet and meet mainnet eligibility criteria will benefit from an accelerated onboarding process upon mainnet launch, with most users not needing to resubmit documentation.
